Happy New Year? Yes! Please!
This brilliant graphic with question and answer came from our printing company HAD to be shared. What a perfect combination of verbiage for the year we are just leaving. Honestly, I chuckled and grimaced at the same time. Could the next year possibly be as horrific as this one? Every prayer warrior is pleading with God to move us to higher ground. This quote by Bill Vaughn says it well. I am rarely considered a pessimist but, in this case, I will be first to raise my hand and confess to pessimism. Hopefully this quote will make you smile, as it did me.
"An optimist stays up until midnight to see the new year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves."
Jan and Al, It is not likely that this will reach you by Christmas but it should arrive before the Epiphany. Whenever it arrives, remember this - that God's revealed this truly to us all. The event lasts a few hours, the season lasts a few weeks, the salvation lasts for eternity. Let us glory, then, in that salvation which begins with the birth of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. (Stephen, Chipley, Florida)
I would like to thank you and al at PFPI for your thoughts and prayers, not only during this Christmas season but throughout the year. Yes! Jesus is my Lord and Savior. He is also the one I talk with numerous times a day. I am proud to say that since last year, i received my college\seminary degree in Christian counseling and it sure has helped me in spreading the Gospel and trying to bring others to Christ. Again, thank you for all your prayers, not only for me but for all of us behind bars. Kirk, CFRC - Orlando Florida
Thank you so much for the cards you sent to us for Christmas, for your prayers and being obedient to the Lord. Thanks for following His calling for your lives. In doing so, you have blessed us. Some of us don't get any mail except through people like you who didn't forget about us in here. Some of us have no family to reach out to us. We are lonely and full of regret and guilt. Just a simple card in the name of Jesus Could not only give hope, but save lives, change perspectives, and compel someone to open the Word of God and change lives. It means more than you could ever understand. The cards I've gotten from you are the only cards I received. I do have a family who loves me and wants the best for me, but they struggle out there and the card I received made me feel like Jesus Himself was reaching out to me. So, thank you again for being obedient to the Lord and remembering us behind bars. Sincerely, Mary
